Jack for 2017 Nissan Rogue. 2T or 3T?
Currently there are some good deals on 2T floor jacks at Napa and Partsource. It would help me if someone knows this is good for 2017 Nissan Rogue. I think the weight of the suv is approx 1700 and ground clearance required is around approx 8 inches. Links to good deals would also be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Get the 3ton.
It will jack the vehicle up with ease, especially if you want to lift the front end and change two tires at the same time.

Dont cheap out on a jack.
Costco has torin in store. I've had mine for over 10 years now and I use it very frequently. Its heavy duty and its heavy. Next jack will likely be this one

2 ton may not raise high enough to lift the tires off ground via body sill jack points.

How is the liftmaster from Amazon? I have been eyeing that for a while now. Or do you know of any equivalents from Canadian tire. I have Gc that I can use there.

liftmaster is a garage door company.
Why not just stick with the tried and true.... Arcan/Torin/Big Red. All decent priced jacks.

Get a 3 Ton.

Agreed. Probably not enough lift. But you shouldn't be lifting the car from the body sill with a floor jack. The correct points are at the front and rear center.

So you mean a 2 ton floor jack is good enough to lift and place the stands underneath?

Appreciate your response. What would be a good price for these floor jacks? Currently I see they are all above 150$ excl tax

How about this one. Considering that I would be doing it 2 times a year should this be fine?

I mean that 2 ton jack will not have enough reach to lift and place stands underneath.
SUV's have a lot of ground clearance. That means you need a jack with a lot of reach to lift the tires off the ground.

Might as well buy the Arcan one https://www.costco.ca/Arcan-3-ton-Profe ... 17470.html and pay with mastercard/masterpass -$20.

More is better but I've had a 2T jack forever and use it to lift each corner on my 4000lb X3 POS just fine.
